Job Description - Payroll Officer MicrOpay 9 months Contract

The Access Group Recruitment is part of MicrOpay Software, one of the most well-known and respected suppliers of Payroll software solutions to HR and Accounting professionals throughout Australia. Our Recruitment division is a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the supply of Payroll staff, with a particular focus on payroll professionals who are experienced with our own software systems. The Access Group Recruitment are the go-to agency for our clients and payroll professionals looking for contract or permanent positions.   

The Role:

9-month contract position MicOpray Payroll Officer for a well-known client in Cremorne. Hybrid arrangement 2- 3 days in the office. 

  • Access MicrOpay software experience is a must.  
  • Large payroll processing experience a must. 
  • Have a role locked in for the new year! 

Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end payroll processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll. 
  • Expertise in Australian Payroll Legislation
  • Compliance: In-depth understanding of Australian tax laws, superannuation, Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Reporting: Familiarity with Single Touch Payroll and reporting to the ATO
  • Leave Management
  • Superannuation guarantees
  • Payroll Tax

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • 3 years experience with end-to-end payroll functions. 
  • High level of expertise in Payroll systems MicrOpay 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams).
