Payroll Officer Part-Time - Competitive Pay

The Company:

An exciting opportunity has presented itself to join a household name in the Retail Industry sector. Operating for over 40 years, they are proud to maintain a strong tradition in manufacturing across Australia.

You:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, utilise your payroll knowledge in a standalone role supporting end to end payroll for the organisation 2-3 days per week. Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Process weekly end-to-end payroll for all employees using Micropay (approx. 270).
• Interpret and apply employment related agreements and awards, policies, and procedures, to payroll related matters including salary, leave entitlements and conditions.
• Calculate adjustments
• Review & import timesheets from T&A system
• Process Payroll journals, generating payroll reports
• Process super monthly through clearing house
• Manage year end closing
• Manage workers compensation.

About you:

• Minimum 3 years experience processing pay in a similar end-to-end payroll officer position.
• Knowledge of Micropay or similar system
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
