Payroll Operations Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience in a large scale organization with an ability to navigate complex processes, and organizational structures

• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, business partners, vendor relationship managers, regional partners.

• Ability to understand and call out risks in processes and offer remediation opportunities

• Control mindset, good understanding of operating in a controlled environment.

• Experience operating in a regional role with good communication skills and the ability to work with partners on other timezones (ie, India, Philippines etc).

• Some understanding of change management and process improvement opportunities desirable

• A good team player, someone with experience working in small team,, able to collaborate and have a 'can do' attitude.

Operational Experience

• Prior experience in HR Operations, good understanding of Payroll processing, salary packaging

• Ability to Perform Business As Usual (BAU) activities accurately and efficiently within agreed timeframes.

• Manage the monthly Payroll input process with a focus on accuracy

• Operate in a 'Deadline driven' environment to ensure BAU responsibilities are met

• Advanced excel skills

• Maintenance and uplift of internal SOP

• Work within agreed service levels and ensure our outsourced partners operate to the same level

• Ability to work with EDSE Country manager, corporate centre partners and where necessary vendors.

• Understanding of the Banking and Finance award desirable

• Understanding of Salary packaging model

• Understanding of overtime tracking and payment obligations desirable

• Understanding of statutory leave obligations.
