The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government’s multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Our priority is to provide innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that will ensure our health system meets the needs of all Victorians now and into the future.

The VHBA Experience

At the  Victorian Health Building Authorit y, we're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities). During early 2024, we became a Project Office within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), joining sister projects including the Metro Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, West Gate Tunnel Project and Major Road Projects Victoria led by Director-General, Kevin Devlin.

What you'll be doing

• Create great people experiences that enable VHBA to deliver its massive program of major health infrastructure projects
• Working as part of a great, people-oriented and friendly P&C division
• Collaborating with experienced P&C practitioners and people leaders across the organisation to drive great people outcomes
• Building great relationships with P&C teams in sister projects (Metro Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Program, North East Link, Suburban Rail Loop)
• Lead role managing employee onboarding and offboarding
• Learn about employment legislation, P&C policies and Enterprise Agreements
• Manage shared P&C inbox and Approvals Portal
• Contributing to the shaping of our workforce during a period of significant growth.
