People and Culture Advisor (AO7) - Urgent Position

The Role:
The department is seeking a passionate and experienced People and Culture Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with P&C policies and legislation. Responsibilities of the role include:

• P&C support including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations
• Development, implementation, and review of P&C policies 
• Empathetic conversations with employees regarding sensitive topics
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations

Your Profile:

• Experience in a P&C/HR role within state government/public sector
• Proven experience in change management
• Empathetic communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
