DFP Recruitment is looking for an experienced People Culture and Environment Coordinator for an exciting opportunity with one of our esteemed government clients based in Midland. This is a 3-month full-time contract position with the potential for extension.

About the role

You will play a vital role in providing support across various Human Resources functions, with a primary focus on managing the end-to-end payroll cycle. You'll be the go-to person for our valued customers, delivering timely and accurate advice on HR matters while also providing support in areas such as fleet management, facilities, recruitment, and wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the fortnightly payroll process with precision and integrity.
• Offer consistent and reliable advice on payroll and employment conditions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with Acts, Awards, and Agreements.
• Assist in fleet management and contribute to facility management across multiple locations.
• Fulfill reporting requirements on a fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Handle financial transactions and maintain records in alignment with policies and legislative standards.
• Address inquiries effectively, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with employees and external stakeholders.

About You:
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing and record maintenance.
• Proficiency across various Human Resources functions.
• Familiarity with Ascender HRIS software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Current National Police clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
