ABOUT THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Head of People & Culture and the General Manager, driving strategic people & culture initiatives. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing policies and programs to elevate the department. This individual will be instrumental in shaping and nurturing our company culture while fuelling the growth and advancement of our head office and project sites.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised and have a can-do and problem-solving attitude with experience in the following:
- Assist the Head of People & Culture with leading workforce planning, organisational capability development initiatives as required and agreed with CEO and Leadership team.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee related matters.
- Assist with managing the recruitment and selection process of new hires, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding.
- Arrange performance management and employee evaluations meetings as required.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Stay abreast of developments in best practices and employment legislation to ensure compliance and promote a positive work environment.
- Oversee people and culture administrative tasks including maintaining employee records, managing systems, and preparing reports for management.
- Assist Head of People & Culture with company events such as wellbeing activities, charity events and team building,
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources.
- Experience working in property or construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees.
- Attention to detail and good judgement.
- Experience using Employment Hero preferred, but not required.
