About the role

We are looking for a personal assistant/legal administrator to join one of our growing Personal Injury teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive team under the guidance of an experienced and reputable Senior Associate. You will be exposed to a variety of matters including motor vehicle accident, work injury and hearing loss claims.  As part of our team, you will be helping people restore control in their lives by achieving suitable outcomes and compensation.

To be considered for this role, you will;

  • Have a high standard of work quality and great attention to detail 
  • Have well developed writing and communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, ability to prioritise and meeting deadlines 
  • Have an empathetic approach and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Be a team player 

 

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Provide support to lawyers 
  • Liaise with clients, barristers and other parties
  • Support lawyers with preparation and drafting of letters, documents and general correspondence
  • Diary management
  • File management, including opening, closing and archiving of client files
  • Filing and other administrative duties
  • Accounts, including client invoicing

 

Salary commensurate with experience.
