We are eager to add a reliable Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary to join our all-star team at Southern Community Health in Adelaide SA.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and are currently looking for a dedicated and professional Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary to join our small and passionate team for  busy Orthopaedic Surgeons. This role is flexible depending on applicants requirements of 3-5 days per week and being either  based at Belair or Hutt Street, some travel maybe  required inbetween sites on clinic days,  A competitive, above award, hourly pay rate including car parking will be negotiated with the successful applicant. 

 

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary who enjoys working in a team environment, is passionate about patient care and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Support with Specialist Consultants
  • Front of house reception duties including meeting and greeting of patients in a pleasant and welcoming manner
  • Handling telephone queries and patient appointment bookings
  • Medicare online and Eclipse billings
  • Diary management
  • Theatre management and bookings
  • Dictaphone and typing preferred but not essential  

 

Key Requirements:

  • Orthopaedic or Specialist experience  is highly advantageous but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude wanting to gain excellent experience within a busy specialist practice
  • Excellent phone manner and presentation
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • High attention to detail with advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a high level of organisational skills and time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Genie software program is an advantage but not essential
  • Flexible with hours
