Pharmacy Assistant and Student - Energetic Workplace

Full-time and Part-time Pharmacy Assistants/Pharmacy Student - North Ringwood Family Pharmacy

We are looking for full-time, Part-time Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Student to join our friendly team at North Ringwood Family Pharmacy. 

North Ringwood Family Pharmacy is owned and managed by experienced Pharmacists and the team are passionate about the health and well-being of their community. 

 About the role

Pharmacy Assistant:

• Provide a high standard of service to our customers
• Assist customers with general inquiries and product recommendations
• Ensure the smooth running of the retail area (FOS)
• Replenish stock and maintaining inventory levels
• Assist with ordering products, merchandising and displays

Pharmacy Student:

• Dispensing medications and supporting the pharmacists
• Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory levels
• Packing Dose Administration Aids (Webster-Pak)
• Providing advice and counselling to patients for minor ailments
• Working as part of a dispensary team that promotes the best patient health outcomes including improved compliance and understanding of their medications and health conditions

Successful applicant must demonstrate:

• Experience in fast paced environment
• Pharmacy Retail experience including fragrances, cosmetics and OTC sales. S2 & S3 trained
• Computer skill & good understanding of Point of Sale (Z Software) system
• Fully competent in cash handling
• Assisting in admin duties
• Willing to be trained and keen to advance their career in pharmacy.
• Flexibility as may be required to work week nights and/or weekends
