Physio Support - Immediate Start

About the role

Maximising independence and improving quality of life for our resident’s overall wellbeing is at the core of this role.  

Working under the support and guidance of our physiotherapist team, you will be responsible for assisting our residents with prescribed treatments as well as group and individual exercise programs in accordance with personalised care plans, including massage, stretches, balance, walking and resistance training.

You will complete relevant documentation and provide ongoing feedback on resident progress to the Physiotherapist to ensure the treatments and exercise programs continue to meet the needs of each resident. 

You will have access to equipment to enhance the independence of our residents and be responsible for keeping it clean and tidy, as well as completing a regular stocktake of physio supplies.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, role modelling and demonstrating correct manual handling practice and the use of equipment to staff is essential in promoting a safe workplace.

A Certificate III in Health Services Assistance and/or Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance (Physiotherapy) or equivalent study/experience is required. 

You must be available to work between 9am – 4pm and we are looking for: 

1 x physio support role Monday, Thursday & Friday

1 x physio support Tuesday - Friday

These roles are fixed term permanent part time commencing in June 2024.
