TCSA Wages TZ Plumber Award,ranging from $69,018 to $70,378 Annual Package depending on experience (includes base salary $61,988 to $63,209 + superannuation + annual leave loading + various allowances)

The role of Full TimePlumberat Taronga Zoo is a truly unique working environment, where your day to day is different every day! You will work on the exhibit facilities for animals such as tigers, elephants, gorillas, platypus, spider monkeys + more!

About the Role… You will join the team that provide a broad range of plumbing, draining and gasfitting services for cyclic maintenance, restoration, repairs and construction work.

- This is aMonday to Friday role; 7am till 330pm,based at Sydney’s Iconic Taronga Zoo!

- 5 weeks annual leave

- Flexible work arrangements

Key Accountabilities…

Perform all types of plumbing, draining and gasfitting maintenance, restoration repairs and construction work as directed

Adhere to work requisition systems and follow through with projects in an efficient and effective manner.

Work effectively as a member of a high performing team, to assist Taronga in its achievement of strategic outcomes.

Ensure work is performed in a timely, cost effective manner to prescribed quality standards to meet stakeholder and Taronga needs.

Perform all trade and non-trade related work activities as scheduled / allocated and instructed by the Leading Hand Plumber or management.

Comply with and suggest sustainability practices in the workplace to help achieve Taronga’s sustainability targets and reduce environmental impact.

Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga’s Work, Health and Safety Charter.

About You… We are looking for candidates that have:

Current license in Plumber/ Drainer/ Gasfitting/ LP Gasfitting – desirable

Experience in Filtration systems highly desirable

Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual.

Experience in all aspects of the plumbing trade desirable

Maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check
