PMO Controller Power Generation

This role supports the APAC PMO Manager and works closely with Project Managers, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to support project cost control, data inputs for reporting, ERP system activities, and project administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, you will help maintain accurate project actuals, forecasts, accruals, commitments, purchase orders, invoicing, and reporting requirements to support successful project delivery.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Support maintenance of project actuals, forecast and accruals.


• Enter cost updates within the ERP system on a regular basis.


• Liaise with project team and other project stakeholders to gather necessary cost updates.


• Track project commitments.


• Raise purchase requisitions to vendors as requested by Project Managers.


• Receipt vendor invoices according to company guidelines.


• Reconcile vendor invoices with respective purchase orders.


• Follow company guidelines to seek necessary purchasing approvals.


• Support vendor set up in the ERP system as required.


• Coordinate project meetings as required.


• Maintain action trackers for projects as required.


• Draft project communication documents such as meeting minutes.


• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports.


• Support maintenance of PMO library.


• Support project team members on ad hoc requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience supporting project cost control activities, data inputs for reporting, and ERP system activities.
• Experience liaising with Project Managers, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to gather required inputs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in SAP 4/HANA.
• Strong capability in MS Excel and MS Office package.
• Experience with MS Project and MS Visio is desirable.
• Experience supporting project procurement control activities.
• Experience with project communication, meeting coordination, and action tracking.
• Ability to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
• Familiarity with PMO library maintenance and general project administration tasks.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including PMO, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Service Operations, Commissioning, and Commercial teams.
