About Your New Role The PMO function manages several large programs of work that each have a strong pipeline heading into the foreseeable future. The PMO Manager position has been created to drive accountability, transparency and performance across all projects. Featuring a newly established framework, the PMO Manager will lead a team of up to 5 people to perform the following:
•Participate in portfolio planning and strategic roadmap for the PMO.
•Act as Chair for all steering committee meetings.
•Ensure resource allocation to meet productivity goals.
•Oversee the delivery governance framework on an individual project level.
•Provide analytical insights and progress updates on project delivery.
•Report on the financial performance vs. Budget for the portfolio. About You!
•You originally come from a project management background, where you have since progressed to operate at the PMO Manager or Program Manager level.
•Have leadership experience where you upskilled and developed a team
•Will hold a widely accepted project management qualification / certification.
•Can demonstrate a track record of driving accountability and transparency in your project management.
•Has proven financial acumen and intimately understands P&L management and budgeting in a fiscal context.
•Brings experience working with Steering committees as well as directly partnering with ‘C’ suite stakeholders.
•Candidates who have introduced a project management framework to a new or emerging PMO will be held in high regard.
