Portfolio Manager Australian Equities

Due to strong growth in its Managed Account business, Shaw and Partners is seeking to add a Portfolio Manager – Australian Equities to its team reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer. You will direct the Australian Equities investment process, working with the CIO and investment analyst as well as the broader Investment Strategy Group to drive investment decisions and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Ideally, you have an established track record managing large cap Australian Equities portfolios and an excellent knowledge of the Top 100 stocks. You will be highly intelligent, have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable dealing with clients, passionate about investments and possess a strong work ethic. You will be very process driven, have proven ability to understand markets, an ability to synthesise new information and data and an ability to communicate your investment theses in a concise and clear manner. You will conduct securities analysis on stocks in the S&P/ASX 100 and work with the CIO and Investment Strategy Group to manage our Large Cap Australian Equities SMA portfolios and provide ideas and guidance to our investment advisors.

This role will be based in Sydney. You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role.
