Job Description - Portfolio Reporting & Analytics Manager

We are seeking a Reporting & Analytics Manager to join a Strategic Portfolio Management & Analytics team within a major financial services organisation.

This role is focused on designing, embedding and continuously improving enterprise portfolio reporting and performance visibility across multiple business units, tribes and centres of excellence.

You will play a key role in moving the organisation towards standardised, automated and tool-driven portfolio reporting, ensuring consistent visibility of delivery performance, benefits, KPIs and portfolio health across the enterprise.

This is a hybrid role sitting across portfolio management, reporting systems, and analytics enablement, with a strong focus on ServiceNow, reporting automation and Power BI-driven insights.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and embed standardised portfolio reporting across all business units and transformation portfolios
  • Design and maintain reporting outputs on portfolio health, KPIs, OKRs, benefits and delivery performance
  • Build automated reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL and enterprise data sources
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of PPM tooling (including ServiceNow integration and reporting alignment)
  • Improve portfolio data quality and establish a single source of truth for reporting and performance metrics
  • Ensure consistent reporting frameworks are adopted across programs and delivery teams
  • Produce monthly and quarterly executive and board-level portfolio reporting packs
  • Analyse portfolio performance trends including productivity, utilisation and capacity insights
  • Support adoption of reporting standards, templates and tools across the organisation
  • Work closely with portfolio managers and transformation teams to embed reporting practices into BAU delivery
About you:

You are someone who enjoys working at the intersection of portfolio management, reporting systems and data-driven insight delivery.

You will bring:
  • Strong experience in portfolio reporting or PMO reporting environments
  • Hands-on capability with Power BI and SQL
  • Experience working with or supporting ServiceNow or other PPM tools
  • Background in financial services, transformation or large enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of portfolio / program delivery frameworks
  • Experience standardising reporting across multiple stakeholders or business units
  • Ability to translate business requirements into structured reporting and data solutions
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
This is an opportunity to help shape how a major organisation builds and operationalises portfolio reporting at scale.

You will be instrumental in moving from fragmented reporting processes to a standardised, automated and insight-driven portfolio reporting ecosystem, directly supporting executive decision-making and transformation delivery.
