Postal Domain SME - Contract - Melbourne

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the postal domain, working with postal operators, courier services, or postal technology providers.
  


• Strong understanding of postal operations, sorting centers, delivery networks, and regulatory frameworks.
  


• Experience with postal automation technologies, barcode/RFID tracking, and logistics software.
  


• Knowledge of Universal Postal Union (UPU) standards and international postal regulations.
  


• Familiarity with digital transformation trends in the postal sector, including AI, IoT, and blockchain applications.
  


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve efficiency and service quality.
  


• Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels
  

• Provide expertise on postal services, including mail processing, sorting, last-mile delivery, and logistics.
  


• Analyze and optimize postal operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  


• Support the digital transformation of postal services, including automation, AI-driven sorting, and IoT integration.
  


• Assist in designing and implementing postal IT solutions, including tracking systems, postal management software, and customer engagement platforms.
  


• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with postal laws and international mailing standards (e.g., UPU regulations).
  


• Conduct research and provide recommendations on emerging postal trends, such as e-commerce logistics and hybrid mail solutions.
  


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to deliver postal technology projects.
  


• Provide training and mentorship to teams on best practices in postal operations and technology integration
  

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification
  


• ​Technical Background: Experience in software development or a technical field.
