Job Description - Practice Manager

At this leading dental practice in Indooroopilly, they are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. The team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and staff.

About the Opportunity:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join their team on a full-time basis and lead the practice towards continued success. This will be a 6-month fixed-term maternity leave cover, with the view to extend into a permanent position in the future.

The Dental Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency, compliance with regulations, and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the practice, including adherence to health regulations and industry standards.

Financial Management: Manage financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, while maintaining exceptional service quality.

Team Leadership: Supervise staffing needs, including interviewing, training, and scheduling, to optimize team performance and meet patient needs.

Patient Relations: Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing stakeholders, and actively seek new business opportunities to enhance the practiceâs presence in the community.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager or in a similar managerial role within a dental or healthcare setting.

Strong understanding of dental procedures, office management, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent financial management skills, including experience with budgeting and forecasting.

Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
