Job Description - Practice Manager

Our client, a leading provider who is devoted to worker's wellbeing require a Practice Manager for their Newcastle location.

As a Practice Manager you will lead our team of counsellors, delivering supervision, to ensure high quality care and support, as well as manage our external allied health referrals and support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Counsellors to meet and exceed clinical standards.
  • Provide Counsellor clinical supervision according to registering body guidelines.
  • Promote and provide Counsellor training.
  • Maintaining and developing clinical policies and procedures

  • Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and competently execute tasks effectively.

  • Accountable - demonstrating integrity in everything you do



Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor or higher degree in Counselling
  • Demonstrated experience providing supervision to clinical staff.
  • Understanding of EAP setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication and IT communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and wider community.
