You will work across technical and commercial pricing, helping turn complex analysis into practical strategies that influence how we go to market. This is a 1 year max-term full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park Tower 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne). 

What You'll Do 

• Design, build and maintain technical pricing models, using data and analytical tools to ensure premiums accurately reflect risk and performance. 
• Support development and implementation of commercial pricing strategies, balancing technical pricing with market and portfolio considerations. 
• Collaborate with teams across portfolio, product, data and risk to ensure pricing approaches align with business goals and customer outcomes. 
• Contribute to team capability by sharing knowledge, supporting peers and participating in projects that drive innovation and improvement. 

What You'll Bring 

• Experience in general insurance pricing or similar analytical roles, with exposure to pricing models and data driven decision making. 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. 
• Experience using tools such as SAS, R, Python or SQL for modelling and analysis. 
• Understanding of actuarial or technical pricing techniques, with interest in developing deeper expertise. 
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• A collaborative and curious mindset, with a desire to learn, improve and contribute to team outcomes.
