An exciting opportunity exists to join the Office of the Assistant Directors-General (OADG) and HR Officer, HR Branch, Department of Education. Your role will be pivotal in working with the broader OADG team in the management of executive correspondence in a high volume, faced paced environment.

Your Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • To assist with the coordination of executive correspondence through HR Branch, including distribution, receipting and tracking, to ensure correspondence is managed in line with quality standards and set timeframes.
  • To use critical thinking to assess executive correspondence and ensure wholistic and well consulted advice is provided to the Assistant Directors-General.
  • Consult with officers of the Department of Education at various levels and build collaborative relationships focussed on achieving positive outcomes for HR Branch and the department.
  • Have an ability to provide well considered oral and written advice to the ADG on strategic priorities and emerging issues.
  • Must have experience using a records management system such as Content Manager.
  • This is an opportunity to work in a growing team and contribute to the development of high quality executive correspondence processed.
