This leading industry body (representing a wide range of industries across Australia) has a key mission of empowering industry success for a better Australia. It has a large team of lawyers Australia-wide and smaller team specialising in policy development.

If you are looking for a positive change in your employment and industrial relations law career, and have a keen interest in this area of ER/IR legal practice, as well as a strong track record in advocacy, this role could be for you.

The Role:
The Workplace Relations Policy team is heavily involved in making submissions in inquiries/royal commissions and on proposed legislative reform, lobbying and running test cases in the Fair Work Commission. 

The work is varied and interesting and includes preparing submissions to government and other statutory authorities regarding legislative reforms and Government enquiries.  Your strong advocacy skills are critical as you will routinely appear in major proceedings before the High Court and Federal Court.     

About you… 

• Legally qualifications with 10+ years relevant ER/IR/Legal experience,
• Keen for opportunities to grow and develop …and take a lead role.
• Highly developed submission drafting skills
• Strong passion for advocacy work
