Principal C# Engineer High Performance Desktop Systems

A global trading firm is looking for a Principal C# Engineer to take ownership of high-performance desktop applications used directly by traders and researchers.

1. Design and build high-performance desktop applications using C# and modern .NET
2. Develop responsive, real-time UIs handling complex data visualisation
3. Work closely with end users (traders / researchers) to deliver impactful tools
4. Own systems end-to-end – from design through to production

1. Strong experience with C# / .NET in production environments
2. Background building desktop applications (WPF, WinForms, XAML or similar)
3. Solid understanding of multithreading, async programming, and concurrency
4. Experience optimising for performance, memory, and responsiveness
5. Familiarity with MVVM or similar UI architecture patterns
