We are excited to offer a newly created opportunity for a Principal Consultant – Health to shape and grow Bailey Abbott’s Health Practice. As a strategic member of our Consulting Practice, this role is dedicated to developing, delivering, and advancing our capability offerings in the health sector, working closely with the National Consulting Director and delivery teams.

Drawing on your deep industry expertise and strong networks, you will help build Bailey Abbott’s presence in the health sector by showcasing our capabilities and engaging with clients. As an expert practitioner, you will provide delivery excellence through quality assurance on engagements, while leading impactful digital transformation and data intelligence projects that make a real difference. This role combines strategic leadership, client engagement, contribution to business development, and advancing our reputation as a trusted partner in health.

Working as our Principal Consultant – Health you will get the opportunity to:

• Shape and grow a newly created Health Practice within a leading digital consultancy
• Promote Bailey Abbott’s full range of capabilities within the Health sector to showcase our value and expertise
• Leverage your established network and industry knowledge to act as a trusted advisor and uncover new opportunities
• Engage directly with clients through networking events, visits, and regular meetings to strengthen relationships and stay connected to their evolving needs
• Conduct research and discovery to understand client businesses, industry challenges, and strategic goals
• Deliver impactful digital transformation and data intelligence projects that drive measurable outcomes in the health sector
• Maintain open and transparent communication with clients on project progress, challenges, and solutions
• Anticipate client needs and proactively offer tailored recommendations to add value
• Collaborate with senior leaders and delivery teams to advance our Health Practice capability offerings
• Contribute strategically to business development while ensuring delivery excellence and quality assurance

Your skills and experience includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field – or significant equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in the health sector, with a strong track record of delivering successful digital transformation and data intelligence projects
• Proven ability to lead complex health-focused initiatives, often spanning multiple stakeholders, systems, and project streams
• Demonstrated consulting experience, providing strategic advice and digital solutions to health organisations and clients
• Strong expertise in relationship management and stakeholder engagement within the health industry
• Experience in people leadership, strategic planning, risk management, and change management to drive sustainable transformation in health environments
