Principal Data Analyst

The NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Principal Data Analyst (Water) for its Local Water Utility (LWU) branch. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to manage database systems, performance monitoring, compliance reporting, and policy analysis for water utilities in regional NSW.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead the development and operation of a complex data collection portal and database for LWU performance data, aligning it with the needs of stakeholders.
• Design, establish, and maintain database applications and platforms, including Oracle APEX Platform, SQL, and MS Access.
• Develop and integrate new business intelligence and analytical tools, collaborating with DPE IT to leverage internal expertise and technology systems.
