About the opportunity
As the Principal Engineer for Financial Crime and Fraud, you will be the most senior engineering leader in this critical domain. You will be responsible for implementing and operating critical systems that protect our customers and the bank from financial crime. This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural thinking, and strategic influence to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and sustainable.
You will provide technical leadership across multiple teams, guiding the technical evolution of all systems that support Financial Crime and Fraud and act as a trusted advisor to Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and senior leadership. By championing modern engineering practices and fostering a culture of excellence, you will solve complex engineering problems, reduce technical risk, and uplift the capability of our entire engineering community.
