Help us define what is possible for our nation and for your career. \n\nThis is a hands\u2011on Network Systems Engineer role supporting the Triton program at RAAF Tindal. You\u2019ll design, configure, test and troubleshoot secure, operational networks, working directly with Defence stakeholders and US\u2011based Northrop Grumman engineers.\n\nThis is not BAU IT or a narrow support role. You\u2019ll be on site, close to the system, with real ownership of network design decisions, performance and future capacity. The role is based in Tindal, supported by a generous relocation package and a genuine cost\u2011of\u2011living advantage compared to major cities.\n\nKey Responsibilities \n\n * Design and plan secure network communications systems\n * Produce network architecture specifications and detailed schematics\n * Select and implement hardware and software to meet current and future needs\n * Configure and integrate Triton network systems\n * Test network designs and validate performance\n * Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues\n * Investigate anomalies and resolve root causes\n * Maintain accurate network documentation and baselines\n * Work directly with Defence and US engineering teams\n\n\n\nAbout You\n\nYou\u2019re an experienced network engineer who likes owning the solution end\u2011to\u2011end, from design through to implementation and fault\u2011finding. You\u2019re comfortable making technical decisions, working in secure, regulated environments, and being trusted with real responsibility.\n\nThis role requires an active NV2 clearance, with the ability to obtain PV.
