The Role

• We're looking for a Principal .NET Developer to take a lead role in designing, building, and enhancing enterprise-grade applications.
• You'll provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through to deployment and ongoing optimisation.
• Lead the architecture and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using the .NET ecosystem.
• Partner closely with product, delivery, and business teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Set development standards, drive best practice, and help shape the broader engineering direction.
• Mentor developers across the team, supporting capability uplift and encouraging high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Contribute to code reviews, solution design discussions, and technical decision-making at a senior level.
• Identify opportunities to modernise systems, streamline processes, and improve platform performance and reliability.
• Play a key role in delivering technology solutions that support a fast-moving and evolving automotive business.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in a senior or lead development role with deep expertise in .NET/C# development.
• Strong background in solution architecture and building complex, enterprise-level applications.
• Experience working across modern development practices, including APIs, integration, cloud-based solutions, and scalable system design.
• Confident leading technical conversations with both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passionate about clean code, development standards, and creating maintainable, high-quality solutions.
• A natural mentor who enjoys supporting and developing others within the team.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance technical excellence with business outcomes.
• Prior experience in large, complex environments is highly regarded; automotive or similarly fast-paced industry exposure will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the confidence to lead from the front.
