Due to their long history of successfully delivering projects, they have continued to develop their ongoing pipeline of work and have a busy future ahead.

Currently, they are seeking a Principal Piping Designer to join their oil & gas division here in Perth. You will be working across multiple portfolios, which grants the opportunity to work on some major projects and be exposed to a range of scopes. Due to the influx of projects and work in the pipeline, they require this position to be filled as soon as possible.

On offer is a long-term opportunity with a solid pipeline of work to keep you busy. Flexible working options are also available to candidates and may include flexible hours or working from home. Our client has not set a rate as they have found their rate bandings to be inapplicable in recent months (often paying more than market for the right candidates). Because of this, our client is, most importantly, looking for the right experience and is open to offering competitive rates.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant design qualification in the relevant discipline
• Oil & gas experience is necessary
• Experienced in design review and completing tasks within budget
• Experience with onshore and offshore pipe route surveys, route alignment drawings, tie-in spools, etc.
• Experience with pipeline construction drawings, etc.
• Able to produce drawings and work packs
• Experienced with drafting/design procedures and relevant software
• Understand and follow OH&S procedures
