Principal SAP PP / Manufacturing Consultant S/4HANA Public Cloud

We’re seeking a Principal SAP Consultant – Production Planning (PP) / Manufacturing to join our high-performing team. This is not a step-up role — we're looking for an expert with proven SAP project delivery experience across complex manufacturing environments. You'll lead key S/4HANA project phases, guide clients through SAP best practices, and mentor consultants in a delivery-focused, flexible work environment.

This is a hybrid role open to candidates anywhere in Australia, with occasional travel to customer sites for critical delivery milestones like workshops and go-lives.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Manufacturing Execution (MFG) solutions on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Own full lifecycle responsibilities: Fit-to-Standard workshops, blueprinting, solution architecture, SAP Fiori configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare
• Deliver manufacturing solutions aligned to industry best practices for MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity planning, demand management, and shop floor control
• Collaborate with clients across discrete and process manufacturing to understand and transform their production planning and execution processes
• Ensure smooth integration with related modules including SAP QM, PM, MM, FI, and external MES platforms
• Guide junior consultants and contribute to internal capability building
• Participate in project governance, planning, and stakeholder reporting

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years of SAP consulting experience, with deep functional expertise in SAP PP and Manufacturing
• Track record of leading SAP S/4HANA implementations, ideally with Public Cloud or RISE with SAP
• End-to-end understanding of production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, and shop floor operations
• Strong grasp of SAP Best Practices, Fit-to-Standard methodology, and cloud-first delivery
• Comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP-aligned solutions
• Industry exposure in manufacturing, engineering, utilities, or logistics
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
• Willingness to travel for key delivery phases
• SAP certifications in PP, Manufacturing, or S/4HANA Cloud (preferred but not mandatory)
