St Pius X Catholic Primary School is a parish-based, co-educational, single-stream school catering for students from Pre‑Kindergarten to Year 6. Founded by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, the school is grounded in the rich traditions and values of the Josephite charism, which continue to shape school life and learning.

The school provides a holistic education that nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of every child. A strong pastoral care framework supports a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, with a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of all learners through targeted and specialist programs.

Students engage in a broad and balanced curriculum, including specialist learning areas such as Music, Drama, Physical Education, Science, Italian, and HASS. Selection Criteria:

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education.


• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.


• A collaborative and future-focused leader who understands and supports the strategic priorities of the broader Catholic Education system. 


• A relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) with the ability to apply advanced leadership and management principles to both the day-to-day and long-term leadership of a school is highly desirable.


• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).


• Current WA Working with Children Check (WA WWCC).
