Principles Tester

Transform the everyday through your role in creating sustainable transport solutions.

In this role you will:

• Prepare methodologies for testing new and altered signalling arrangements designed by Siemens as a Control Tables Tester and/or Principles Tester.
• Conduct testing activities primarily off-site, executing tests as per planned methodologies and local standards.
• Perform on-site testing when required, especially for tests not feasible off-site.
• Develop and maintain test reports and plans for Principles Testing activities.
• Provide effort estimates for new projects and scope changes, supporting bids and tenders.
• Maintain logbooks and Certificates/Statements of Competency as required for each client.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Over 10 years of experience in rail signalling, particularly in design and testing roles.
• Training in rail signalling principles and standards.
• Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning standards, practices, and procedures.
• Familiarity with Siemens products such as WESTRACE and WESTLOCK, and Siemens design/testing processes (desirable).
