Are you a skilled in either role seeking a rewarding opportunity with a leading mining and renewables company? We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our team on a 6-month contract basis, working on an 8/6 roster.

Role Overview:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our metallurgical processes. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Conducting metallurgical testing and analysis to optimize process performance.
• Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance recovery rates and product quality.
• Providing technical support to operational teams and troubleshooting process issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field.
• Previous commissioning experience is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in chemical processing plant operations.
• Proven experience as a Metallurgist in the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgical processes and principles.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

 Job Details:

• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off
• FIFO Flights: Provided from Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne
• Location: Broken Hill, NSW
• Accommodation: Camp accommodation provided
• Community: Enjoy the camaraderie of a friendly camp community
• Facilities: Access to a health and wellness centre (gym)
• Start Date: Immediate
