Position

Unicorn Transport Equipment are currently seeking a Procurement Administrator to join the team. 
This position will be responsible for working alongside our Purchasing Officer, overseeing, and managing goods in and out of the company. Providing support within the team in the development and execution of the procurement.

Role 

• Assisting with the daily activities of the procurement department.
• Sourcing/ordering and maintaining stock levels of materials for production.
• Researching new suppliers and sources of supply for various goods and services
• Raising and processing purchase orders in line with production schedules.
• Assist in stocktaking activities; monitor stock levels, management of good in and out of stores, and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaise with suppliers with regards to logistics, delivery times, and stock lead times
• Assist in optimizing the Procurement process for the company. 
• Support administration tasks including freight booking, forwarding instructions (if applicable) documentation management, invoice management and general movement coordination.

Qualification and Skills Requirements

• Previous Purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of the Automotive Body Building industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good time-management and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, and team members.
• Skills in Microsoft programs, Outlook and Excel is required.
• Forklift License is advantageous. 
• Must have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.
