Procurement & Subcontractors Supervisor

About the Role
You will oversee end-to-end procurement and subcontract management, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery. This includes supplier sourcing, onboarding, contract administration, performance management, governance, and reporting, while leading a team of Subcontracts professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Subcontracts Officers, driving performance and accountability


• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract execution


• Oversee subcontractor onboarding, compliance, and ongoing performance management


• Ensure procurement activities align with governance, risk, and safety (SHEQ) requirements


• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors


• Monitor and report on supplier performance, cost, and service outcomes


• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across procurement and subcontract processes


• Support capital projects and operational procurement requirements across the business

About You

• Proven experience in procurement, contracts, or subcontract management within a complex environment


• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams


• Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and supplier management capability


• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across multiple business units


• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability


• Experience working with procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba) and reporting tools


• Ability to balance compliance requirements with delivering efficient, practical business outcomes
