About the role
We’re looking for a Product & Pricing Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Manager of Pricing Delivery, you will be instrumental in maintaining the product, pricing, and compliance frameworks that support Red Energy and Lumo. You will work at the heart of our retail operations, driving implementation plans for price changes and providing expert guidance to the broader team. This is a unique opportunity to use your analytical skills to optimise existing products, manage complex business rules, and ensure we meet our regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute price change implementation plans, ensuring strict adherence to business rules and compliance requirements.
• Maintain current and develop new pricing plans to support business needs 
• Develop and maintain relevant compliance documentation including price and product schedules, price fact sheets across jurisdictions and channels
• Manage Retail’s offerings on regulatory websites to ensure 100% compliance with industry standards.
• Act as a key contact for price change developments, communicating risks and issues to stakeholders across the business.
• Monitor and report on external cost structures, including networks, metering, and energy supply costs.
• Maintain a consistent product, pricing, and compliance framework to manage complexity and increase overall business effectiveness.
• Perform deep-dive data analysis and forecasting to improve the customer experience and optimise existing products and their application.
• Proactively advise the business on insights and continuous improvements concerning all price change activities.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar pricing analyst role within the energy or utilities sector is essential.
• Strong technical skills with a proven ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a problem-solving approach to navigating complex business rules.
• A collaborative working style with the ability to partner with compliance, regulatory, and sales teams.
• A relevant degree in Mathematics, Finance, or Data Analysis is highly desirable.
