This is an opportunity for a Product Design Lead to come and join the Freely team to build a sustainable business that positively transforms the way travelers experience and contribute to people, places and the planet.

A bit about you:

• You’ll bring 7+ years’ experience as a Designer with a UX/Product Design background
• You’ll have a deep understanding of the skills and processes around Service, Interaction, and Experience design
• You’ll have experience working in cross-functional agile teams  
• You’ll have a history of designing elegant solutions that were commercially successful and continuously optimized – and be able to explain how success was measured and the results that your team achieved 
• You’ll be able to display prior evidence of leading the design of a new product or new features from start to customer success
• You’ll have the ability to lead, inspire and motivate cross functional teams to deliver high-quality products
• You’ll have excellent communication skills and the confidence to communicate, negotiate and critique designs
• You’ll be a strategic thinker and have a passion for being on the tools as this is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership from UX to UI design

A bit about the Job:

• You’ll leverage human-centred design to support strategic planning in conjunction with the Product Manager and/or Head of Product
• You’ll lead and deliver customer research and planning in the discovery phase, including synthesis and communication and ensuring rationale for key decisions are made.
• You’ll set UX outcomes and metrics to ladder up to the overall product and business outcomes
• You’ll create wireframes, UI concepts, sketches, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that are user tested and iterated on
• You’ll provide design leadership for new experiences and product / service developments
• You’ll define, map and contribute to the Freely customer journeys and personas, and creating a strong customer-centric culture and focus
• You’ll contribute to building and growing the product design craft at Freely and the Freely design system
• You’ll coach and grow product design team to support building a high performing product design function
• You’ll effectively communicate and engage stakeholders and keep them informed and consulted at key points in the product design process
