Product Designer to collaborate with our Global Product team to design and prototype enhancements and new features for our desktop, web and mobile software products that will serve as the foundation for our development team's projects.Guided by a deep understanding of user-centred design and UX principles, prototyping tools, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you’ll combine stakeholder and customer feedback into the ongoing optimisation, innovation, and evolution of our software. With the support to use your good judgment and set your own goals, you’ll be empowered to make an impact that feels personal and meaningful.
What you’ll do - Understanding of users' needs:Create user journey maps, user stories and personas to develop a deeper understanding of our users’ needs. Ensure the user’s perspective is the driving force behind all design decisions.
- Wireframing and Mockups:Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma to communicate design concepts and user flows effectively.
- Prototype Design:Work closely with a Product Manager to design prototypes that demonstrate key features and functionalities of our products.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements and feedback, and iterate on designs accordingly.
- Design Documentation:Document design decisions, interactions, and user flows to ensure clear communication with the development team and seamless handoff of prototypes for implementation.
- Stay Abreast of Trends:Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that impact product design. Apply knowledge and insights to drive innovation and enhance the quality of our prototypes.
What you’ll bring - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and ability to create intuitive user interfaces
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, or similar
- Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and methodologies, including wireframing, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- A basic understanding of front-end development technologies and constraints is a plus
- High impact communication – you can clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations. You have the ability to communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams effectively.
- A willingness to challenge and question stakeholders to understand the problem and propose innovative solutions
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating user-centric designs that solve complex problems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
