Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a Product Developer to join our team!

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to support the Product Development team in all aspects of design, sampling & production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a part of the Product Development team to ensure the business is keeping ahead of trends and staying relevant.
• Submit tech packs and communicate with suppliers on product specifications & enquiries, from sample stage through to bulk production.
• Attend weekly fittings & ensure garment tech standards are maintained.
• Manage samples on a daily basis and ensure all comments and supplier relationships are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Assist the team with measurement specs & tech packs for production.
• Approval of lab dips, strike offs & trims.
• Improve the products being developed by conducting market research & trend forecasting.
• Approve garment graded specs for bulk production.

• Qualifications and 2+ years’ experience in a Product Developer/Garment Tech based role - Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however raw talent, attitude and skills are always highly valued.
• Knowledge of garment production, textile manufacturing and understanding of garment specs, garment grades and general garment technician function.
• A passion for design & style.
• High level of understanding in garment development.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• General skills in Google Sheets/Excel.
• High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
• Can work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Regularly creating and taking advantage of learning opportunities; uses newly gained knowledge and skill on the job through their application.
• Strong communicator and clearly conveys information and ideas in a focused, appropriate and effective manner.
• Ability to manage a high workload and be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong Communicator - ability to form relationships across the business.
