Product Specialist - Leading Industry Pay

The Australian and New Zealand food service divisions have performed very well in recent years, and they are expanding their footprint in FMCG and QSR. To support its growth ambitions in these sectors by better servicing the requirements of existing and new customers, the business has created the role of Product Manager.

Your Role
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Product Manager, you will work closely with a Business Development Manager and cross-functionally to service new and existing clients, contributing to the development of tender proposals and working closely with suppliers to manage cost models, product design, and specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with clients to determine product requirements, design specifications, and artwork.
• Liaising with international partners in China, Malaysia, and Vietnam to source finished products.
• Ensuring customers' needs are met promptly and accurately by working closely with the Business Development Manager and the wider Huhtamaki team.
• The role is based primarily at our production site and office in Windsor, NSW, with flexible working arrangements. Occasional travel to meet customers and interstate travel with the Business Development Manager will be required.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Experience in product management, preferably in packaging manufacturing. Experience in FMCG, QSR, or retail is also relevant.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, including international suppliers.
• Superior attention to detail concerning specifications, artwork changes, administration, and reporting.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally, both locally and interstate.
