About ICSION

ICSION is a family-owned company that manufactures high-quality medical products used in in vitro fertilisation (IVF).  We design, manufacture and sell a range of micropipettes used by embryologists to help people achieve their dream of having a child.  Our products are sold across Australia, as well as exported overseas through a growing network of international distributors.  

The Positions

We are looking for several new team members to join our growing production team.  In particular, we are looking for people to manufacture micropipettes using microscopes and other specialised equipment, as well as those that can assist packaging and labelling the products.   All necessary training will be provided.

We are offering full-time, permanent positions subject to an initial probationary period.  Remuneration is linked to aptitude and overall productivity.  Our state-of-the-art cleanroom facility based in Thebarton, SA.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Specifically, the micropipettes we manufacture are very small glass tools that are used to manipulate human eggs, sperm and embryos. Given that the tips of such products are smaller than a human hair, the roles are suited to those with aptitude in manufacturing or packaging small, delicate components – for example those with experience in electronics, watch making, micro machining and micro assembly.

Specific attributes include:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• High levels of sustained concentration. 
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a cleanroom, with microscopes or with small components is preferred but not required. 
• Familiarity with technical details of medical devices concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred but not required. 
• Australian working rights.
