Production and Packaging Operators

Our client, a leading nutraceutical manufacturer, currently have multiple opportunities available for Production and Packaging Operators in Northgate (QLD, 4013).

Packaging Operators:

• Operating packaging machinery and digital screens, including minor troubleshooting
• Operation of various equipment including pallet jacks, wrappers, etc.
• Packing of various types of nutraceuticals into diverse packaging materials
• Assembly and disassembly of all machinery and equipment used
• Cleaning following strict procedures
• Maintenance and completion of database entry
• Identify and report quality issues while working
• Assist with general production duties

Weighing Operators:

• Weighing and handling of raw materials using allocated scales
• Lifting of raw material bags and other equipment
• Operation of various equipment
• Assembly and disassembly of all machinery and equipment used
• Cleaning following strict procedures
• Maintenance and completion of database entry
• Identify and report quality issues while working
• Assist with general production duties

Machine Operators:

• Operation of various machinery and equipment, such as mixers, blenders, encapsulation and tableting machines
• Lifting of raw materials and other equipment
• Assembly and disassembly of all machinery and equipment used (as required)
• Cleaning of room and some equipment following strict procedures
• Maintenance and completion of database entry
• Identify and report quality issues while working
• Assist with general production duties

If successful, you will be offered:

• Consistent full-time hours (38 hours per week)
• Monday to Friday work days only. No weekend work!
• Either morning shift (6am-2:30pm) or afternoon shift (2:30pm-10pm)
• Strong likelihood of transitioning into a permanent position within 6-12 months of starting
• Annual employee bonus of 6% of salary when permanent

To be successful the following attributes will be HIGHLY regarded:

• Work experience in cosmetic, bakery, food processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry;
• Understanding of quality control;
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 15-25kg;
• A high attention to detail and time management skills;
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to undertake and pass a full medical assessment and drug screening
