Our Commodities and Global Markets Technology Production Assurance Team partners across the technology teams to enable change that adds business value whilst ensuring our production systems remain stable and secure. Our focus is on modernising our Technology stack through simplification, optimisation, and effective risk management practices.

What role will you play?

Your role will contribute significantly to the uplift of Production stability across all core Commodities and Global Markets systems and will define, implement, and improve operational processes across the team, which include Incident and Problem management.

Your focus will include deriving metrics to drive long term fixes to issues, identifying and/or developing tools and dashboards for better visibility of the production environment. Identifying opportunities to simplify processes or implement automation initiatives will be a key factor to your success in the role.

What you offer

• 5+ years’ of experience delivering operational services, DevOps or driving process improvement initiatives, ideally in a global, complex, cross-functional financial services environment
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, with experience in one or more of the following areas which may include SQL, Python, VBA scripts
• Good conceptual understanding of all levels within the technology stack such as operating system, database, and applications
• Strong Service Management experience and solid understanding of ITIL processes
• A keen sense of ownership and accountability to directly drive results
• Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability in a dynamic environment where priorities shift as we balance across multiple required outcomes in parallel.
