Production Operators

About the company:

Our client is a well-known food manufacturer in the South-Eastern suburbs. They require the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source multiple Production Operators to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
 
These roles have become available due to rapid growth of the company. Shifts run over day and afternoon shifts, and roles are available across both shifts. The morning shift starts at 6 am and the afternoon shift starts at 3 pm.

About the role:

As a Production Operator, you will be performing a vital role in the food manufacturing space. Candidates who show leadership qualities will be put on a fast track to team leading and supervisor roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set-up and maintain drying machines
• Decant products into the dryers
• Ensure the smooth operation of the machines
• Follow SOPs and documentation to carry out production
• Perform general housekeeping
• Filling and packing of products

About you:

• Previous experience in a similar role. Ideally from the dairy industry
• Production experience from food or pharmaceuticals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of food safety
• Leadership qualities to step up into a team leader role
