The Position…

In this position, the Production Scheduler will be required to ensure products are effectively planned out and scheduled in the system; from entering production runs, to customer administration, scheduling sales orders, to organising time slots and estimating the delivery of shipment dates. You will need to liaise with internal departments to determine customer requirements while using the most cost-effective methods to meet the standards of the company’s quality specifications.

Further duties include;

• Develop production schedules detailing the required tasks to meet completion end dates.
  
  
  


• Monitor project's progress to ensure it follows the assigned schedule.
  
  
  


• Organise and maintain records including project schedules and purchase orders.
  
  
  


• Collect and assess data regarding the production and team's performance.
  
  
  


• Monitor production overheads and raw material costs.
  
  
  


• Prepare reports to improve overall production efficiency.
  
  
  

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Production Scheduler along with a decisive mindset and excellent organisation skills. You will need to understand the basis of manufacturing/ production operations and streamline processes; with the ability to plan and problem solve.
