Production Team Member/Forklift operator - with Growth Opportunities

About the business and the role

Dindas Australia is a national wholesale distributor of timber and related products with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

We are currently looking for someone to join our Qld team based in Tingalpa

Hours consist of 6:30am-3:30pm Mon-Thursday 6:30am-11:45am Friday

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be

• Cutting/preparing timber orders
• Wrapping/strapping packs
• Use of chainsaw/dropsaw
• Forklift operation - Timber packs/lengths up to 13.2 metres long.
• General housekeeping.

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role you will

• Have a current forklift license.
• Have a positive attitude and be able to conduct yourself in a productive and professional manner while adhering to all OH&S policies and procedures.
• Have good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
• Experience with timber would be preferable but not necessary.
• Opportunity for overtime when required.

On the job training will be provided for the successful candidate.
