Kymera International, located at Bell Bay in Northern Tasmania and a global leader in the manufacture of metal powders, has a vacancy for a process operator:

Reporting to the Crew Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the production plant and mechanical equipment, you will also undertake product quality testing procedures, product handling and loading. 

Skills and Attributes: To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of good safety practices and housekeeping procedures, be willing to contribute as a part of a small dedicated team and can work unsupervised when necessary. You should be fit and healthy as this can be a physically demanding role at times.

You must have demonstrated technical ability and be able to learn new skills quickly. Attention to detail and precise work practices will also be required. You should be comfortable using computers and have good written and verbal communication skills. Problem solving skills are highly desirable.

No previous experience is required as we provide all relevant training. A forklift license would be an advantage. All appropriate PPE is provided by Kymera.

The successful applicant will enjoy working in a flexible team setting and be able to relate well with employees in all sectors of the operation.

Remuneration, including shift allowance, will be close to $72,000.00 per annum and includes 5 weeks annual leave. We offer 13% Superannuation.

If successful, the applicant must undertake a full medical and a will be subject to a satisfactory Police check.
