Job Description - Products and Adminstrative Co-Odinator

Australian Conveyor Engineering (ACE), part of Fenner Conveyors group, offers an extensive portfolio of complete solutions for the design, manufacture, and installation of high-capacity conveyor systems. Specialising in providing engineered conveyor solutions for a range of clients who demand reliability and performance, we can take a small idea and make it a big reality!

As a result of our continued success and ongoing commitment to providing quality products to our customers, we are searching for a highly motivated Products and Administrative Co-Ordinator to join our TEAM supporting our major clients.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including ordering, invoicing, and purchase order tracking, ensuring the efficient and timely procurement of goods maintain optimal inventory levels, and oversee vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, coordination and procurement, and financial oversight, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. In addition, this role will also work closely with the roller sales teams assisting in quoting and customer/branch management when required.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process for conveyor products, from the Groups existing vendors, review and keep up to date pricing negotiations and placing purchase orders on vendors, monitor and implement Rise and Fall triggers.
  • In conjunction with Group Management, monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs while minimizing excess stock.
  • Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor the status of all purchase orders, ensuring that deliveries are on time and meet specifications.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve procurement and inventory processes, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Manage risks associated with suppliers and procurement by maintaining accurate documentation and mitigating potential disruptions. 
Requirements:
  • Tertiary level qualifications in a Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or financial-related specialisation.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in coordination, planning and procurement, inventory management, or supply chain leadership roles, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Certificate in Procurement (e.g. CPM, CIPS) or Supply Chain Management (e.g. APICS) whilst not essential would be advantageous
  • Proven expertise in managing procurement, inventory, and supplier relationships at a senior level.
  • Understanding of mining and conveyor components
  • Highly developed IT skills - advanced in ERP systems and inventory management software, e.g. Epicor, SAP, Oracle or similar
  • Ability to build collaborative, cross-functional relationships and develop influence.
