Program Administrator – Permanent Part-Time 

Commencing June 2024

26-30 hours per week - 4-5 days per week

ALI's Program and Planning team is seeking a Program Administrator to join their team on a part-time, ongoing basis. The role will be based at Bungarra Alpine Centre Jindabyne.

Compensation will be in accordance with the Clerks - Private Sector Award (MA000002), with above award rates being paid based on experience and qualifications. You will receive the standard 4 weeks annual leave plus an option to accrue an additional 3 weeks paid leave per year. 

As a Program Administrator, you will be responsible for designing and developing both winter and summer outdoor programs that utilise outdoor environments to enhance learning experiences. This role requires creativity, organisational skills, attention to detail and an understanding of the local area.

The ideal candidate will possess a warm and approachable demeanour, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive amidst a dynamic workload, ensuring smooth office operations and program development.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Essential

• A warm and approachable demeanour 
• Strong organisational and planning skills with relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Publisher, along with adeptness in internet usage
• Proficiency in office environments
• Attention to detail 
• Ability work to tight deadlines 
• Self-motivation and the capacity to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for outdoor activities and working with young people

Desirable

• Experience in the education or outdoor education sectors
• Familiarity with Kosciuszko National Park and the Snowy Mountains region
