YOUR NEW ROLE

The Program Manager is responsible for planning and delivering the Opera House’s marketing technology projects. Adopting modern, fit-for-purpose marketing technology will contribute to the Opera House’s sustainable operating model. The Program Manager leads the project team and ensures the marketing technology roadmap is aligned to the Opera House’s business priorities.

The Program Manager is responsible for effectively coordinating multiple work streams. Each project has specific integration requirements and diverse stakeholders in portfolios across the Opera House. The Program Manager leverages the Opera House’s project and change management frameworks to mitigate risks to the projects. They embody the organisation’s values; they unite the project teams and program stakeholders into one team, striving for the best.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

We are looking for someone with:

·At least eight years’ experience as a technical specialist or technical project manager, working with marketing technology, databases, customer data, and web services.

·At least five years’ experience overseeing the strategy or architecture for customer-facing technology in a business of similar size and complexity.

·Demonstrated experience working with a wide range of marketing technologies including systems for web content management, CRM, DAM, marketing automation, ticketing, and business intelligence.

·Demonstrated experience collecting and translating business requirements and objectives into technical specifications, and then implementing systems to meet those specifications.

·Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: user experience design, user interface design, customer experience, or design thinking.

·Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and vendors

·Advanced communication skills, including an ability to translate technical concepts for a lay audience.

·Experience making technical decisions from a whole-of-business perspective.

·Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise work.

·Flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
